This past week has been very slow for the $500 challenge. To read more about the $500 challenge, go here. I made $22. Not great. My eBay item did not sell this week, so this was a sale of 3 items on Facebook Marketplace. I’m debating if I should start including CC cash back rewards and Savings interest, but I kinda feel like that’s cheating. Sooo I’m just going to focus on bonus cash above and beyond those things. Semi-Weekly FIRE Report – Mid July, 2019
Since I haven’t done a semi-weekly FIRE report since this one back in JUNE, I figured it’s about time to HOLD MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE and get back on the FIRE bandwagon.
One thing I like about doing the weekly reports (or semi-weekly, or occasional) is that it forces me to look back and really think about what I’ve been doing, if anything, to propel myself to FIRE. The fact is, I’ve been at this for almost 10 months, and that means I need to see progress. MORE of it. DEMAND MORE! Continue reading “Semi-Weekly FIRE Report – Mid July, 2019”

The T on FIRE $500 Challenge – Are You READY!?
Here’s the thing.
If you’ve been reading my blog you know that I haven’t been saving much during my aggressive debt obliteration. I’ve been frustrated that I cannot fund my brandy-new TFSA Questrade account to try my hand at investing due to the $1000 you need to have laying around. What am I, a thousand-aire? Sheesh. Continue reading “The T on FIRE $500 Challenge – Are You READY!?”
